We pray with confidence that the Lord has blessed each of you today.
I (Jong) have been feeling a little under the weather so I wasn't able to visit Isaac yesterday. I missed him so much! I think people were staring at me in wonder and fear because I suspect I was visibly giddy at the prospect of seeing him today.
The Lord was so very generous today. We arrived to discover that Isaac has been sleeping very well and that his oxygen saturation was good enough for the doctors and nurses to reduce his oxygen level down to 30% from 35% and 40% earlier. Our nurse reiterated that his eye exam yesterday confirmed no ROP yet and that his eye infection seemed to be gone. His other infection has also improved enough for them to stop giving Isaac one of the two antibiotics that they were giving him.
Isaac slept for virtually all of the time we were with him but it was wonderful just singing to him, praying with him and just laying hands on him.
Things have gotten so incredibly busy for me and Sonia. Ironically, it makes our time with each other and Isaac that much more precious.
We will continue to pray that Isaac recovers and grows enough for him to get his surgery and for us to find a welcoming bed at a good hospital closer to our home.
It is days like this one when Sonia and I can see through our exhaustion and humbly reach out to our Lord with a grateful heart for his unbelievable grace, mercy and generosity.
I don't want to write much more as we've been writing a lot lately (sorry) so I thought I'd just post a bunch of pictures.
Blessings,
Jong

Hi Sonia and Jong,
Isaac has been on our minds and in our prayers a lot for the past few days. It is encouraging to know that his infection has gone down. We can only imagine how exhausting this is amidst your work and the traveling back and forth. Please take good care and rest well.
Love,
Dor and Jon
Thank you so much for continuing to share your beautiful son with us. I am so glad that he seems to be getting stronger each day. I will continue to pray for your family and especially for Isaac and a transfer to a new NICU.
God Bless you,
Tracy
Dear Sonia and Jong,
Thank you for being such a blessing to so many people. Your decision to choose to trust God in the midst of pain is inspiring to so many of us. We will continue to pray for Isaac and remember Rachel. Praying for you on this rainy day in Hong Kong.
A fellow mom whom waits on the Lord with you,

The last picture looks like Isaac is saying, "let me sleep, leave me alone." :) Or is he doing a "talk to the hand"? :)
He is such a cutie pie. I'm praying that God will close up his PDA so he doesn't have to go through surgery, and also God's intervention in transferring him to the Red Cross NICU.
