That completely choked me up. There are a whole lot of other reasons why I am voting for the McCain-Palin ticket this November but when she says this kind of stuff, it definitely helps me feel really good about my decision! And we were so blessed in April. Todd and I welcomed our littlest one into the world, a perfectly beautiful baby boy named Trig.
You know, from the inside, no family ever seems typical, and that’s how it is with us. Our family has the same ups and downs as any other, the same challenges and the same joys.
Sometimes even the greatest joys bring challenge. And children with special needs inspire a very, very special love.

I really liked her as well.I will be voting that way too.
I'm really hoping with Palin's special needs child, and McCain's adopted child, that they will really be a blessing for families built either way, and will be a voice for children's needs and issues.
I cried during that part too. Trig is a doll...there truly is something very special about our special needs kiddos!
