Per Daddy's Order

Jong is traveling in the US and asked me to post some new pictures of his children. So being the obedient wife I am, I am posting some new pictures! Isaac has been missing his papa a lot. We know this because he has been saying papa a lot more than usual and when I lay down with him for his nap or his bedtime, he keeps signing "daddy" as well!

I have been sick like a dog for a few days. With my luck, I started getting sick right after both my mom and Jong left (they left on the same day - last Wednesday). I was already feeling sick but had to take Isaac to a first consult with a neurologist who got referred to us by one of Jong's friends. The clinic was far and the appointment was very long (I was there for 3 hours, probably 2 hours of which I was actually talking to the nurse or the doctor while trying to distract a very tired Isaac who had to wake up way too early from his usual afternoon nap). Plus Isaac hates being examined by doctors and nurses so at times I had to wrestle with him and he can be pretty strong now. So I think that put me over the line after a month of sleep deprivation plus I am probably still recovering from the C-section. Anyhow, I started getting a fever and it went up to 103 F on Friday and lingered around 102 F or so all weekend. It finally went down to 100 F today. I never get fevers and even when I do, they never last this long so I think I am really exhausted. Other than the fever, I have the usual cold/flu symptoms. I am feeling much better than Friday and the weekend but I still feel week and tired. I am praying really hard that my breastmilk will do its job and keep Abi healthy although I am also washing my hands religiously and wearing a mask around her. I am not terribly worried about Isaac as I am pretty sure this originated from him as he was the first one who got sick - then Jong got sick - then I got sick. Anyway, please do pray that Abi can stay healthy.

Okay so I will stop talking about myself and post the pictures now. :)

I decided to take pictures during bath time.
THIS has got to be one of the BEST pictures I ever took of Isaac. I almost missed this one as I was pulling the camera away and caught him smiling and immediately snapped my camera - which is why part of his head is cut off. Its so hard to get him to smile at the camera these days! We see this smile all the time and that's why this little guy makes us smile all the time. :)
Its been harder to take good pictures of Abigail. She is usually sleeping or crying for food (hence looking unhappy). Plus I didn't want to use the flash because it makes her frown. Anyway, I weighed her yesterday and she is already 4.02 kg (just shy of 9 lbs) at just 1 day over a month old. She is definitely going to be a chubby wubby. When we first brought her home, she only weighed about 5.5 lbs! Hopefully, she will start looking happier more often soon so we can get better pictures!
By the way, Isaac has stalled at 10.3 kg (around 22-23 lbs) for ages. I am thinking of starting a poll for everyone to guess when Abi is going to surpass Isaac in weight! :)
