Dear all,
Will you please pray for Isaac. There is something going around in Japan and a number of people have been sick in my office. I started not feeling great on Monday morning and was worried because I had shared food with Isaac on Sunday (he wanted to eat what I was eating). Isaac started coughing this morning and by the afternoon he started getting a fever and started sounding phlegmy. He went to sleep a little while ago but his breathing isn't that great. He was only satting at 91-92 without O2 so I had to put his nasal cannular back on. We have him on 0.5 liters of O2 right now and he is still only satting at 93-94. Isaac hasn't needed any O2 for a month now so its kind of sad he had to go back on. Please pray that he will get better quickly as we are really hoping that we can make it back to the US the last 2 weeks of August.

Poor guy. Hopefully he will get well soon. It's not unusual for preemies to need oxygen when they get a chest cold. Do you have a nebulizer? The best thing is to keep his nasal passages clean so it doesn't drain too much into his chest. We use the nebulizer ever 3 hours around the clock when Nate gets sick and it *usually* goes away in a bout a week. If you don't have a neb, then letting the bathroom run hot water and get steamy can help if you can keep him in there breathing in the air for about 15 minutes?
