We had another check up today and the babies are still looking good. One baby (Baby A) was sleeping and the other one (Baby B) was moving around. When we had our last ultrasound, Baby A also started off sleeping but woke up after a little while while Baby B was moving around a lot. So now Jong thinks we may have a boy and a girl because he thinks Baby A is like me (I like to sleep) and Baby B is like him. : )

Unfortunately, we have no pictures to post this time. Our doctor is really great but might be a bit technologically challenged. He has given us video tapes for the past 3 u/s but none of the videos work (we just get snow). We think he did not connect his VCR correctly but he didn't think so. On top of that, today, he forgot to put paper in the u/s machine so he couldn't print out any of the pictures!

We were just very thankful that the babies look good, had good heart rates and measured on time. : )

Now I have to go for 4 weeks before the next u/s!

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great New Year. Today (Monday) was a holiday in Japan and Sonia has been resting quite a bit. She seems to having trouble sleeping at night and is sleepy all day. My theory is that the babies are keeping her awake at night. So now Sonia is afraid that the kids will have the same sleep habits as me! Anyhow, we continue to be amazed by how quickly the kids will continue to grow and are praying that He continues to bless the pregnancy.

This was our most recent u/s. It was really amazing because the babies were very active - waving their arms and stretching their legs the entire time. When we first started looking, the first baby was moving around but the second looked like he/she was sleeping. Then, the second little one woke up and when we were looking at the second one, he/she started really dancing around. They were soooooo cute!

The babies actually looked like babies now on u/s! They were kind of floating around, moving a little bit but not too much. But everything looked great according to the doc.

These were from our 7w2d u/s. We were excited after this u/s because the little one almost caught up in size!

These were from our 6w3d u/s. We saw 2 little babies with 2 little heartbeats on this day but one baby was still a lot smaller (about 4 days behind in other little one). So we kept praying hard that the smaller baby will hang in there and catch up soon.

5w2d u/s

This was our first ultrasound on 5w2d. We saw two sacs but one was a lot smaller so we started praying really hard for our smaller baby to grow, grow, grow.

We are finally pregnant!

Beginning of the story:

Saturday 11/19/05 - woke up at 3 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Decided to take a Home Pregnancy Test (HPT) even though I knew it was way too early to do so. Got a faint second line!

Monday 11/21/05 - tested again first thing in the morning. Got a much darker second line!!

Tuesday 11/22/05 (our 9th year Wedding Annivesary) - tested yet again and got another even much darker second line!!! This time I am pretty sure its a real positive! Jong arrived back from his trip in the morning and I lined up all my HPTs for him to see as our wedding anniversary gift when he got home. We then left for the clinic for my blood test.

Thursday 11/24/05 (Thanksgiving Day) - went to clinic and received confirmed news that I am indeed pregnant. Beta as of 11/22/05 was 154. Doctor told me I was 4w2d and my official due date is August 1, 2006!!
